An event can have the perfect artist lineup, your favorite beer on tap, and the coolest light shows in the city, but at the end of the night, the only thing that matters is how much fun you had. This is the main problem with planning for a night out at the bars - expectations often differ from reality.

Currently in Salt Lake City, the aim of the NiteOut project is to merge expectation with reality by providing a live ticker of the scene at favorite local bars. In fact, the app will ultimately learn about you, showing a live ranking of events and bars tailored to you, your location, and your friends.
